wow, don't you just love the adrenalin rush you get after walking out of your last exam?
so i celebrated by going to my piano lesson. WOOO. it was so boring! haha. then my friend amber had a farewell party cos she's moving to sydney, so that was like party party after exams! we went swimming in the rain and thunder storm and watched inspector rex and zoolander. it was fun!
so i am free. and my holidays at the moment consists of:
work at virgin music
holiday homework
learning guitar
running sunday school at church
i'll be so rich by the end of summer =)

to relieve stress
you will all be so proud of me..
i took the train by myself yesterday =) my parents finally let me lol.
after work, i walked to ringwood station and trained to flinders street station to meet my parents who were at a baby shower at bok choy tang in fed square. unfortunately, there was a bus replacement from box hill to camberwell and it was raining and i got all wet... it was an interesting journey. i was so dead by the end of it.
after eating leftovers at bok choy tang, me and mum and elysia walked to DFO spencer street. we only had like 2 hours by the time we got there. i got a necklace & bangle (wow havent bought jewelery in a while), a $10 little black dress from GRAB denim, a $10 top from GRAB (i got lotsa party clothes now) and a $5 scarf/scarve/scarfe (crap i cant spell scarf..) from just jeans.
retail therapy does the job alright =)
we then got a green tea latte from starbucks and off we went home on the train. by the time i got home, my feet were killing me and i still had to study.
so anyway, exams are tuesday - thursday -.-"
i think i'll wing them, it's just year ten =)
and i just watched gossip girl episode eleven. every episode makes me cry now lol.

PS. if you were interested (even remotely) at the juxtopoz magazine i mentioned last blog, my friend jarrad's dad went to the newsagent to see if they even get the magazine and they said that they get one a month that they usually send back because nobody buys it. so you CAN get it from the newsagent it's about $12-$13 i think and is cheaper if you subscribe online and get it mailed out.. although im not sure if they charge extra because it's an american magazine and they'd have to mail it overseas.

juxtapoz

yesterday jarrad showed me this art & culture magazine website called 'juxtapoz'. weird name i know. neither of us could say it properly to each other at school today lol. but i checked it out and found loads of awesome art. some is a bit weird - but lots of art is weird these days, some were sooo funny and some were just incredible. we were chatting about it over msn for hours - sending links back and forth going, 'look at this one!!'. i found this particular video and it was a youtube video of a guy painting a man wearing sunglases. the painter was painting on a rooftop in chicago, and his medium was spray paint. it was incredible! the video showcased his work and his progress throughout the day as he painted. it was a series of photographs with music in the background. and now i am so inspired with art again!
we had our last visual art lesson today =( but i finished my painting =) and im pretty happy with it.

a HUGE sigh of relief
methods is over.
i am so happy that i can't stop smiling. and though i probably did really bad, its over.
and now i just have to worry about my year 10 exams.. lol. they all seem so comical compared to methods.
for now, here's my number one request for christmas. it's not expensive, but the only place i can find it is online.
it's a diana camera.
basically a cheap plastic camera with a cheap plastic lens whose photos are so BAD, they're good.

maths methods
my textbook looks about ten feet high, and i just cannot seem to wrap my mind around it's contents. surely these next nine days will past so incredibly slowly. and by the time nine days are up, i will be the happiest person or the most devastated person on earth; because either it will all be over or my life will be - i refuse to re-do methods.

the simple joy
yesterday we got to go to the factory where they unpack & pack samaritan's purse christmas shoeboxes. i can't quite explain it, but the joy that came from doing this was overwhelming. it felt like you were giving hope and life to these kids.

cup weekend
eight and a half hours at new zealand natural on saturday was not the most fun. edge clothing kept playing 'sex on fire' by kings of leon and '7 things i hate about you' by miley cyrus alternating the entire day. by the end of it, i have to say i was going insane! on my lunch break, stoy was working at health express in the food court, so i went to visit him and he gave me free frozen youghurt! i had to quit my job on saturday, receive my first pay check and look after the shop by myself sometimes. my summer job is now at sanity which is more retail based and in music and movies (and theyre getting in games) which is heaps better than selling ice cream!
sunday was great, i got to catch up with an old friend and then dora's family came for dinner and since i havent talked to dora in ages, it was good to get an update on school gossip again lol.
yesterday we went to visit mum in the city and went to lucky chan for yum cha with her bosses. that was fun and fufilling. i also did 2 hours of methods in which i covered 4 topics - which i was pretty happy about! then, ed & dave & sanjeev came for curry laksa.
today i hung out with rach and grace at westfield donny. the place is fully for rich people and has THE coolest shoe shops ever! (i want all the nikes in all the shops!) we cam whored in lacoste where we pretended to try on a $250 dress, had yuck TGIF food and bought all the scarves in lolitta. i came home and did more study.
my cup weekend has been pretty good - very tiring and actually, my wrist is absolutely killing me from practicing violin!
CONGRATULATIONS TO DADDY QUENTIN AND MUMMY SONJA ON BABY ASHER!
oh i guess its back to school and studies and exams tomorrow - fun!
